This semester’s stop-motion animation has taught me very much and strengthened my idea of doing stop-motion animation afterwards, especially the process of making puppets in it, I had a lot of gains and reflections, at the beginning, the limbs and torsos were supposed to be made with different thicknesses of wire, but I used thin wire in all my productions, and this led to the fact that when I was rotating the legs of the puppets many times in the later stages, the wire broke and the whole leg of the puppets came off, so we had to change the original story script. So we had to change the original story script to change my puppet to a disabled character. And I found that making the puppet’s hands and feet was also a difficult task for me, which I learnt later on when I was helping Year2 with the hands and feet.

But in the process of post-production, I found that how to shoot a good sense of rhythm of stop-motion animation is also a difficult point, so we made a bold attempt to split the camera, close-ups, long shots, elevation and top-down views have been added to the shooting, so that there is a very clear distinction between the different images, the sense of rhythm is more obvious, this attempt at stop-motion animation, so that I have a kind of cinematographic feeling, the production of the role of the puppets, the script of the story idea, and a variety of shots, a series of filming, a series of film, a series of films, and a series of films. The creation of character puppets, the conception of the script and story, as well as the shooting of various shots, a series of creations and group co-operation have greatly increased my interest in stop-motion animation, and also stimulated my desire to create, which has made me know clearly my direction and what I need to learn in the later stages of the course as well as with the help of Year2.
